YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Processes SSF requests from Accounting Platforms, with quality and within SLA (48 hours), as to the following:
- Cost centre creation and master data maintenance
- Internal order and WBS creation and master data maintenance
- CCA, COPA and PCA cycle maintenance
- Correction via cycle run, COPA Korr or 9KE0 postings
- Services
- Asset Sale
- Reimbursements
- Transitory Items
- Material master data settings and maintenance
- Standard price and cost estimates
- Efficient system for distribution and corresponding quality checks
- Monitors the closing activities of legal entities being handled (execution of steps and resolving closing issues) including the performance of closing pre-checks.
- Provides data for the monthly/quarterly Report Back Alignment Reports
- Attends the GPG CA Jour Fixe calls, Reportback Alignment calls and CA Department quarterly meetings.
- Delivers reports on time (e.g. Ticket/Workflow status Report, Closing Feedback)
- Supports the following roll-out during the project phase until go-live. - Cost Accounting Directive - Annually for Sales Contracts/Sales Documents/recurring billings set up - Material Ledger implementation thru system implementation of master data and cycles set-up according to the CAD.
- Performs resolution of findings to AccP on monthly BW (Business Warehouse) via system implementation.
- Complies with Bayer policies and procedures and supports company initiatives
- Performs other duties as required by the immediate manager from time to time
WHO YOU ARE
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, financial accounting, Management Accounting, or similar
- 1 - 2 years of experience in any of the following:
- Management Reporting / Financial Data Handling (including customer perspective)
- Controlling Data Analysis & Financial Master data Management o Cost Accounting processes (Value Flow and/or Product Accounting & Inventory Valuation)
- Other accounting related processes

My role as an associate, my daily tasks revolve around verifying, analyzing, and posting of invoices in accordance with the company’s accounting procedures. I ensure that issues affecting payment of invoices are resolved on time.
My main responsibiliy is to assist our Expert and my Associates to ensure smooth and efficient operation on day to day basis. In IPC, our main goal is to ensure payment on time. On a team level perspective, we need to ensure that invoices are handled correctly based on prioritization and in a timely manner. I also act as the first point of contact of the associates should there be any issues or concern related to the process. Also, im in charge for daily and monthly monitorings like Tax and WF3 rejections, Baseline dates etc. and act as the back up for Expert's monitoring activities and reports like Backlog assignments and KPI analysis. Together with our Expert, we are also in charge during collaboration calls and meetings with our counterparts (ex. Front Office ) I also work extensively with our leader ship team (Expert, Senior Expert and Team Lead) should there be any escalations in the team, or any process improvements or alignments and issue resolution if any.
I am currently working as an Associate in S2P. I am more on processing invoices based on standard process for Legal entities in Latin America.

Working hours are very flexible but sometimes workloads are excessive.
I cannot say it's the worst, but it's something that we could improve on is our drive for automation. Look forward on this improvement, since I'm seeing a lot of initiatives lately.
