Transfer Pricing Technology Specialist

Responsibilities

• Assisting clients in operationalizing their transfer pricing policies 
• Identifying technology solutions to build, embed, or automate intelligence into transfer pricing procedures;
• Providing advice to clients on how to use Deloitte’s proprietary technology tools and third-party platforms as well as sharing best practices and processes on managing transfer pricing related data;
• Liaising between clients and third-party service providers on matters involving financial data extraction, migration, and integration for transfer pricing purposes;
• Utilizing third-party tools for financial data extraction, data matching, and data manipulation.
• Developing best practice, processes, and standards for effectively carrying out data management activities and implementation of transfer pricing policies.
• Examining intrinsic and extrinsic client data for functional, economical, and risk profiling through the use of analytical tools;
• Assist clients in designing their transfer pricing policies and governance framework
• Assist clients in meeting their transfer pricing reporting and compliance obligations

Requirements

• Education. Bachelor's Degree in Data Management, Solutions Architecture, Information Technology, Computer Science or other relevant fields.
• Work Experience. None required. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply. Position may differ based on experience level.
• Advanced Excel skills (e.g. VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, etc.)
• Understands the processes in Data Migration and Cleansing
• Knowledge of data import and the use of data upload templates
• Experience reviewing large data sets including writing reports and recommendation to the business on issues, errors or trends within the data
• Knowledgeable in ERP Systems such as NetSuite, Oracle is a plus
• Understanding of finance and accounting principles and practices, especially intercompany transactions
• Ability to conceptualize and understands tools/scripts that can automate the reporting process (usage of complex formula, Excel Macro, VBA, SQL)
• Ability to build new reports and templates on top of existing business systems and makes them available to all users;
• Ability to design, test, and propose improvement to reporting process optimization
