Your role

Will serve as the legal counsel for ECPAY. Manage the legal and contract functions and provide expert counsel to the business on transactional, operational, risk-related, and litigation matters. Collaborate with our key partners, as necessary (including prospects, clients, vendors, partners, and regulators) to advise on regulatory and privacy-related issues. Evaluate risk factors impacting business decisions and anticipate unique legal issues that could impact the company. Draft, manage and maintain all company legal templates. Provide legal collaboration with all functions throughout the company on business and product initiatives to ensure compliance with regulatory and contractual obligations. Collaborate with external counsel as necessary. Assist the Department Head - Consumer Business Legal Services in the overall objectives and deliverables of the team.

1. Drafts and reviews contracts and other legal documents.

2. Provides legal advice to internal clients/proponents.

3. Coordinates with the clients/proponents in the resolution of issues.

4. Comply with the standard TAT in terms of the contract review process.

5. Assist the team in accomplishing the overall objectives.

Training, development & rotations

Globe has invested more than P63 million in the learning and development of its over 8,000 employees through Globe University. Of the total Learning & Development budget, the company invested approximately P8.3 million in Newton, an online learning platform that provides employees access to a wide range of eCourses which they may take at their own pace and time to support their professional development.
