Culture at Marie France Group of Companies

From what I experienced, the company's culture in the office is professional and formal.

It's a homey vibe with camaraderie and bearable work life balance

The company is a female-dominated company maybe because we are in aesthetics and wellness. We work 5.5 days a week and after regularization, we could have 2 Saturdays off. When it comes to my workmates, I think we get along well because they are mostly in my age bracket. For the supervisors and directors, I think they can still jive well and know how to listen when it comes to our innovation and ideas.

For 1 year of working in the company I have observed that it was peaceful and has teamwork. As time passed by I noticed that when there was colleagues' conflict the environment is not as peaceful as before. The work superiority really exist. The senior has advantages especially in terms of work and decking of clients. The new therapists are sometimes afraid to voice out because we may have low evolution from the seniors.

Whenever there's something wrong, the team acknowledges it and perform according to the company policy and rules. My coworkers are easy to work with and rely on.

While my workmates are good people to work with, the normalizing of heavy workloads and sudden and immediate job orders can be traced back to poor planning. Overtime could have been avoided if there was proper planning.

Everyone in the team maintains a professional attitude during office hours, and I like it that whenever there are team members who are working beyond their work schedule, they begin to somehow loosen up, listen to music, joke around, or sing a song while working.

The company holds, team building activities Christmas parties, etc. which is nice.

With the culture, Marie France is actually instilling a corporate yet familial environment. We have lots of company events where we get to have fun and interact with employees from other departments. But since we have Saturday working schedule, we really can't have the work-life balance with having just one day-off. Regardless of that, working environment and the colleagues are great to work with.
