Fund Services Accounting Apprenticeship UG Program (Start ASAP)

Your role

Key responsibilities as follows:

• Collaborate with Account Managers to ensure accurate NAV calculation for hedge fund clients.
• Update client portfolios using Morgan Stanley Portfolio Accounting (MSPA).
• Review accounting and performance-related issues with Account Managers.
• Provide accounting solutions for independent valuation and regulatory compliance.
• Calculate daily NAV and perform middle office functions like P&L analysis.
• Review general ledger exceptions and make necessary adjustments.
• Process non-automated transactions, including OTC derivatives.
• Conduct daily and monthly securities pricing analysis.
• Validate and process corporate action data.
• Assist in audit support and compliance functions.

About you

The ideal candidate will have:

• A Bachelor’s degree in finance or equivalent.
• Knowledge of hedge fund processing is advantageous.
• Strong administrative and organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage increased workloads at month-end.
• Capability to work as part of a virtual team across different time zones.
• Proficiency in key financial systems and IT tools.
• Good communication skills.
