Diversity at Powerco

Powerco is quite diverse. We even got a rainbow tick some time ago.

Powerco is extremely diverse company, and is very supportive of lbgtiqa+, as seen in the culture and celebrations during pride month.

Half of executive positions are filled with women, rainbow tick

Our company is working towards acquiring the rainbow tick which means they are a safe working place for the lgbt community. The women in this organisation are great, super talented and supportive people and have postions up and down the hierarchy.

Most of the other engineers are not of pakeha decent. There could be more women in the engineering teams but in the past couple of years proportionally more women are being hired into engineering roles.

Very inclusive, I work with a wide range of people who come from different aspects of life.

I think our company is trying to improve in this area by developing the graduate and internship opportunites. They are working towards developing avenues for widening recruitment opportunities for people with diplomas (as opposed to degrees) and people from technical backgrounds that show promise.
